When you coach, every detail matters: the minimap, the numbers on the HUD, a player's position. And your comment has to land while the action happens, not three seconds later.

What coaching asks of a screen share

Two things, and most tools give up one of them. Sharpness first: an over-compressed picture wipes out small text and details, exactly what you want to show. Speed second: if the picture lags, students see the play after the explanation, and the session loses its rhythm.

What Beamcord does

The picture is encoded by your machine's video chip, at your screen's real resolution and at the bitrate you choose. HUD text stays readable. With Studio, you stream up to 1440p, or at your screen's native resolution.

It reaches your students in 96 ms (median, measured in real conditions): fast enough for your voice in the voice channel and the picture to stay together.

How it works

1. Open Beamcord and pick the game or replay window.
2. Start the stream and paste the link into your team's channel.
3. Your students watch in Discord or their browser, and you talk them through it in voice as usual.

FAQ

Do my students have to pay?

No. Watching is free and needs no account or install: only the person streaming has a subscription.

Can I show a replay instead of the game?

Yes. You pick any window or the whole screen: game, replay, analysis tool, whiteboard.

How many students can watch?

Up to 20 at once with Solo, up to 50 with Studio.

How much does it cost?

Watching is free. Streaming costs €3.99 a month with Solo (1080p, 60 frames per second, up to 20 viewers), or €7.99 with Studio (up to 1440p and native resolution, up to 50 viewers). Cancel anytime.

Does it work on Mac?

Streaming needs Windows 10 or later for now; the macOS version is coming. Watching works everywhere, Mac included.
